Hannah Taylor-Gordon, Mary Nighy: The Fine Art of Love

Synopsis: Thuringia, Germany, in the early 20th century. A group of young girls are brought up in a college within dark forests and gloomy dull lakes. Young Hidalla and her friends Irene, Vera, Blanka, Melusine and Rain are brought up in an isolated world: the girls don't know anything about life outside the college's broad and high walls. At the age of 16, some of them start asking questions about their origins, their parents and the true purposes of the Headmistresses strict rules. When two of them disappear mysteriously, the initial fairytale atmosphere grows more and more eerie. Will the inspector from the nearby city discover the real purpose of the college? Will Hidalla be successful in her revolt against the destiny assigned to her by the Headmistress? This is a forbidden love story, between two of the six girls.

Away from prying eyes, there's a school that teaches young girls how to please their elite masters. On the surface, it's an orphanage doubled as a 'finishing school' where the girls learn dance, music, and etiquette taught by severe demanding teachers headed by a heartless headmistress played by Jacqueline Bisset. But a completely different reality is hidden beneath this facade, a deadly secret fiercely guarded that will cause some of the girls to pay dearly for their desire to understand. Cruel eros and lecherous titillations in a world of chaste young girls destined to be European Geishas!
